No compromise

So, KG and I just got home from seeing Watchmen.

Well done, Mr. Snyder. Yeah, there was stuff missing. Yeah, some things were changed. But I really don't think we could have gotten a better movie than this. I'm very pleased.

I'm sure I'll have more to say at a later date. For no, suffice to say I give it a big thumbs up.

364 days until Watchmen hits the theaters. To mark the occasion, the official Watchmen site released some character pics today. Sweet Jesus.

From what I've seen and heard so far, the only way Snyder can fuck this up is if he throws in the Max Rebo band and his intergalactic jizz blower. Since that's in the unlikely category, I'm fairly confident that this adaptation is going to be awesome.

Color me excited.
